I found out that it's really tough to get the right exposure, when you're pointing your camera up in the trees. These are a little over exposed and blown out in the spots where the light is coming in through the trees, but I was still learning at the time and didn't really know what I was doing yet. All that considered, I think these turned out pretty good! :)
I was thinking about you and your hummingbird pictures today- one of our cats was giving out her "I caught something and brought it in, are you going to come check it out" cries. It was a ruby-throated hummingbird!! Stupid cat, I couldn't believe she caught one.
ReplyDeleteAwww, that's so sad Michelle! They're such beautiful little birds and so quick...I'm surprised your cat was able to get it. Fortunately, my hummingbird feeder is up where cheetoh can't get to it! I would love to put up some bird feeders in the trees, but I can't until cheetoh dies, otherwise he will have all the birdies for lunch and I can't have that!
ReplyDeleteIt's the light pastel green behind the hummer that really highlights the shot. wonderful!!!
ReplyDeleteThese are actually pretty good shots.
