It was bitter sweet saying goodbye to Michael, as he left to report to his duty station, in Georgia! The bitter part is knowing that he is going to Iraq in July, but the sweet part is seeing how my baby has grown into a man! Not just a man.....but one who loves and adores his wife, Jaymie.....and one who is willing to fight for his country!
This was taken as we were leaving to the airport.
Making every moment count.......grabbing another hug in the grocery store! Aw....I'm tearing up as I type this.
Surprise! I know, I know....a little weird taking a pic of Jaymie coming out of the restroom, but I couldn't help myself.....I mean after all the camera was in my hand, what was I to do? Lol
In the airport parking garage.
That gentleman on the right, tried his best to get out of the picture, but he just wasn't fast enough. Lol
I had to get a shot of my honey!
A very sweet, tender moment! I love candid shots like this!
This picture warms my heart every time I look at it! Don't you see love written all over his face?
What a beautiful couple! I had to get one last shot as Andy and I were leaving. We wanted Michael and Jaymie to have some time alone, before they had to say goodbye, so we gave our hugs and kisses and we were on our way.
I hate those airport good-byes. I always end up crying!
ReplyDeleteGlad you had this time with him - he looks good in the uniform!
Hi Debra - Sweet, sweet images - I bet you are all counting down the days until he's home again. Praying for his safety and the time to pass quickly!

Beautiful photos so sweet... I am sure it was hard at the airport... I cant tell you how many times I have driven to the Portland airport... picking up or dropping my son.. it was so hard everytime. I was very happy to be there everytime.
