Skywatch Friday ~ Golden Sunrise (11-28-10)

This was such a gorgeous golden sunrise! I woke up later than usual on this morning and I was already scrambling to get ready for church, when I looked out my window and saw this.  Well....even though I was already running late, I just had to grab my camera and get a few shots, ya know!  Oh, how I wish I would have had more time because this is my favorite kind of sunrise.  Clouds and fog always make the sunrise even more beautiful!  Oh and did I mention that there was no time to grab my tipod?  Ugh....I know I could have gotten some spectacular shots, with the tripod!  Because I was hand holding the camera, I had to have my shutter speed set to at least 1/60th of a second, to prevent camera shake and I wasn't able to set my aperture to f/22, like I normally would, but....I did the best I could without my tripod!

Just amazing! Makes me want to learn about all the setting on my camera, I just point and press the button and let the camera make all the decisions!

  8. Thank you all for your sweet comments! And Kelly, of course I remember you, I've thought of you at times and wondered how you were doing! Sorry for taking so long to reply...I had to put everything on The back burner for 7 months while our friend was dying. It was such a stressful time that I couldn't keep ip with my blogging!
