ReplyDeleteLove it! :)))))
These are so beautiful Debra, just like watercolor paintings. Is that the view from your front door?
ReplyDeleteThese are stunning, looks like lovely scenery too. Look foward to the after-sunrise shots :-)
ReplyDeleteGreat colours for this sunrise series !
ReplyDeleteWell done !
Thank you all, for your kind and encouraging comments. I was very pleased with these photos, except for the fact that I completely forgot to lower my ISO, as the sky got lighter. There's just so much to remember and little time to think when the sun comes up so FAST! I would have preferred less noise, so hopefully I have learned from this and next time will remember to keep my ISO lower.
ReplyDeleteK Soucy, to answer your question....the first 5 pictures were taken right out my back door from my deck and then I walked a little ways down my driveway to take the others.
This is an excellent series of shots. I love how you can feel the dawn coming, you can sense the sun on its way.
ReplyDeleteGreat photo series Debra - beautiful colour. I like the fact that you're playing around with the non-automatic settings on your camera! Have you tried the exposure compensation feature yet?
ReplyDeleteCheers,
Dave
Wow, absolutely stunning. I love #4 and #7 best. That mist below the mountains in #7 really complements the beautiful colors in the sunrise.
ReplyDeleteTerrific music! I love the layers of color in your shots! Beautiful!
