Sunrise Sneak Preview!

This is just a sneak preview of some of the sunrise pics I took Nov. 14th. I really didn't want to post them until this Friday for SkyWatch friday, but I just couldn't stand it, so I decided to post some now. Don't worry, I saved the best ones for SWF, so sorry you have to wait to see them!

Thanks for your nice comment on my place.

  4. These are so beautiful! I love the golden color! Can't wait to see the best one on Friday, cause I don't know how it could be better!

  5. These are wonderful, Debra! Can't wait to see the 'best' ones. ;)

  6. Oh Dj, these are beautiful, And I hope your tummy bug is better. Love you!

  7. Glorious morning! I love how the jet "ruined" your picture, too! Kinda looks like a shooting star!

  8. Debra:

Saw these on Jessicasprague site. Great job! Glad to see you are still perfecting!

  9. Please accept my apology for not replying until now....I've been down for the count with a stomach bug. Ugh!

Anyway, Joy to answer your question...As the sun came up I had to underexpose when I metered in order to keep the deep rich color. If you will notice in the 5th one down, the sun and the sky were just a little too bright because I needed to underexpose it a little more. If you don't do that...the sun ends up being this bright blob. I should have underexposed the last one a little too because the sun was coming out of the clouds and was a bit too bright.

So glad you all like the pics...thanks for all of your comments!

And Michelle, unfortunately I'm still sick, but I feel like I'm at the end of it finally.

  10. Your photos are pure perfection, Debra. I enjoyed them all
