This is just a sneak preview of some of the sunrise pics I took Nov. 14th. I really didn't want to post them until this Friday for SkyWatch friday, but I just couldn't stand it, so I decided to post some now. Don't worry, I saved the best ones for SWF, so sorry you have to wait to see them!
Absolutely breath taking!!! How did you get that coloring to show so beautiful?
ReplyDeleteyou have ones that are BETTER? Those are amazing!! How can any one look at those and not believe in God? the 3rd and 4th ones are my favs

Thanks for your nice comment on my place.
These are so beautiful! I love the golden color! Can't wait to see the best one on Friday, cause I don't know how it could be better!
ReplyDeleteThese are wonderful, Debra! Can't wait to see the 'best' ones. ;)
ReplyDeleteOh Dj, these are beautiful, And I hope your tummy bug is better. Love you!
ReplyDeleteGlorious morning! I love how the jet "ruined" your picture, too! Kinda looks like a shooting star!
ReplyDeleteDebra:
ReplyDeleteSaw these on Jessicasprague site. Great job! Glad to see you are still perfecting!
Please accept my apology for not replying until now....I've been down for the count with a stomach bug. Ugh!
ReplyDeleteAnyway, Joy to answer your question...As the sun came up I had to underexpose when I metered in order to keep the deep rich color. If you will notice in the 5th one down, the sun and the sky were just a little too bright because I needed to underexpose it a little more. If you don't do that...the sun ends up being this bright blob. I should have underexposed the last one a little too because the sun was coming out of the clouds and was a bit too bright.
So glad you all like the pics...thanks for all of your comments!
And Michelle, unfortunately I'm still sick, but I feel like I'm at the end of it finally.
Your photos are pure perfection, Debra. I enjoyed them all
